How to Use

DTIC CS enables Department of Defense (DoD) business and program units to accomplish their mission objectives. The DoD IACs are scientific and technical research and analysis organizations that yield new Scientific and Technical Information (STI) and help researchers, engineers, scientists, and program managers provide innovative analysis and an enhanced knowledge base. The DoD IACs serve as a bridge between the warfighter and the acquisition community. The contract is available to all federal agencies in support of DoD-related activities.

  • TAT period of performance up to 60 months
  • Supports unclassified through TS/SCI
  • Scientific and Technical Information (STI) developed through TATs provided to DTIC for government-wide use.

Quality Assurance

ManTech integrates quality into every phase and activity of each task. We utilize our Quality Framework in support of our master Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) to ensure quality services by leveraging industry standards established by CMMI ML3, ISO-9000, and ANSI, and based on the following principles:

  • Inject quality into each task order from its inception
  • Structure quality planning and reviews into task requirements
  • Apply quality assurance within the system development life cycle model
  • Identify risks early and apply resources as needed to mitigate those risks
  • Conduct quality reviews of services and deliverables
  • Aggressively use metrics, trend analysis, and lessons learned to evaluate performance

ManTech uses the prescribed methodology, policy, and procedures for the QASP. We conduct audits and performance monitoring of all task order projects, including baseline audits, phase audits, quality assurance audits, and ad hoc audits; and fully documents audit findings.
